SCOT R. CAMERON….“polished performer with a rich, expressive voice”

Scot holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance and Sacred Music from Appalachian State University in his hometown of Boone, North Carolina and a Master of Arts degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. For the past 16 years, Scot has traveled across the United States as a concert artist and has performed internationally including Israel, Latvia, Spain, France, England, China, Brazil, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Singapore.

Scot has been a featured guest at Focus on the Family, Chuck Swindoll Ministries, Marketplace Ministries, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the National Religious Broadcasters Conference, Christian Medical/Dental Society, National Fellowship of Christian Performers, Singapore Bible College, and has been a television guest on Swan's Place and the Dino Show. As a classical artist, he has performed with Concert Royale at Princeton University, Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet, Hallelujah Oratorio Society in Singapore, Saint Thomas Church (New York), Dallas Bach Society, Chorus Austin, Orchestra of New Spain, Early Music Foundation of New York, Rochester Bach Festival, Houston Masterworks Chorus, Texas Camerata, New York Baroque Dance Company, the Orquestra Sinfonica y Coro de Radio Television Espanola en Madrid, and the Fort Worth Symphony. He is featured on the Dorian recording, Madrid 1752, “Sacred Music from the Chapel of Spain” and Alexander’s Feast by the Bach Sinfonia of Washington. He made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2003 singing with the Sacramento Choral Society and the New England Philharmonic.

Scot, Amanda, and their two year old son, Ian Alexander, now reside in the Houston area and serve on the staff of Sugar Land Baptist Church.
